The halo is mostly the HDR but if you look at the hill that the bridge disappears behind in the +2ev you can see the ambient city light haloing it as well. In this case I'm assuming the HDR process enhances these lights causing the halo. with HDR in general the shadow/highlight, contrast...

just a little practice with long exposure HDR stuff. this is only my 4th time trying an HDR image. its a little overdone, but i will include the +2ev of the image for comparison.

Set up a backdrop and light yesterday and took some misc shots. Personally I think they came out pretty good. Only used 3 sheets of 8.5x11 paper and one 130 watt light bulb. :) C&C welcome.

Thanks everyone! these were all random practice shots that happened to turn out better than practice shots. the first 3 are taken with a konica hexanon 50mm 1.7 modified to fit the E-500 and the last was with the kit lens and was one of the first shots i ever took with this body. :D
