back to the Everett marina this afternoon... the egret was there again, fishing among the logs next to the boat launch. here are a few of the shots i took... mostly looking for shots of the bird with fish. the light was changing between filtered sun and dull & cloudy, never very bright, so i didn't get the brightness i'd have liked in the images, but i didn't have to worry quite so much about blowing the whites either.

Does this count? Photographed on Sunset Ave. Sunday afternoon (10/18/15). At least it is more appropriate to our area than a pink plastic yard flamingo. While it may have been a great blue heron at one time, it is now a sun-bleached great egret.

yeah, i know that feeling... i have the same problems getting to Juanita, Canyon Park and Edmonds...
