got this little female Anna's gathering nesting material from an old weeping willow at Juanita Bay Park the other day... pity she was backlit, but ya takes what ya can get... that tree is quite the hub of activity thes days. there's a flicker nest in the trunk, sapsuckers are often seen in the branches, hummers come to gather nesting stuff, and robins, crows and downies come and go frequently.
I think the back lighting makes the shot. Female Anna's use spider webs to make their nests. The back lighting brings out the web in a manner I don't think a "front" lit shot could.
