Timing is always the issue for me - for once I had the 7D/500mm f4L set up. These shots were taken from my office window and basically at the feeder. Fortunately some of the shots were far enough from the feeder that I didn't have to show it 
All taken this morning (Wednesday June 4) mostly at ISO 800 and f4 and whatever shutter speed the combination allowed (in this case at the Tv setting of 1/1250s). Also exp comp -1.
The male Rufous Hummingbird doesn't stick around our area for very long so I considered myself lucky to get these shots.
