got this little fellow on the pond at Scriber Creek Park this afternoon (4/14)... he swam off when i first appeared, as wood ducks do, but once i got set up and he saw i wasn't a threat, he came back in close... REAL close! like, less than 20 feet, which is very rare for a woodie! combine that with some nice, soft light and some beautiful reflected colors on the water, and it was just too good an opportunity to pass up! these images are straight from the camera, no cropping, just resized and sharpened a bit for the web...
