A mama Anna's hummingbird with her chicks, this afternoon at Union Bay natural area in Seattle... The chicks will probably fledge in less than a week.

Great shots. I have not seen any hummer nests in my usual secret spots. Anna's breed so early that it is not unusual for them to have two clutches of eggs a year.
