I've never heard of Tweeters before, Bill. Looks interesting.
I do have my concerns for excessive foot traffic in wildlife hotspots. I am making reference to the general location because it is all the hype right now on OBOL, Oregon Birders Online and is documented on ebird, two well known birding authorities on the net. OBOL is where I found out about it first. I've been out there to photograph it a couple of times and the foot traffic does appear to be about normal for the refuge. Of course people will stop and ask me, "Do you see it?"
I was just on ebird and discovered that the Black Phoebe is getting more and more common around Western Oregon.
Shame on me. I saw him on the Feb. 3rd too. I meant to look him up for identification and got sidetracked. Thanks for the reminder and the ID. Looks like he's hanging around for awhile.
