Another prize from my visit to the Hawks Prairie Ponds in Lacey this afternoon... a black phoebe. Lifer bird for me, just a shame the light was so horrid. The little stinker was sallying for insects, but kept returning to a perch behind a lot of bare branches, making AF all but unusable... this was manually focused, 600mm, 1/250 @ f/8, ISO 1600. Bad light, high ISO, but it was a bird I'd never seen, much less photographed before, so I took what I could get!
