a flock of bushtits put in an appearance at Sprague's Pond this afternoon... here are a couple of shots of the little fellows...

Did you get shots of the females and their spooky yellow eyes? Keep your eyes open for nests. Last year I photographed one under construction in the bushes at the south end of the park.

i didn't see any females in the group, but there may have been some. i do have shots of the female showing the pale eyes, though... i posted one here: http://www.pnwphotos.com/forum/showthread.php?13564-more-from-Sprague-s-Pond-3-16

haven't seen any nests yet this year, but will keep on the lookout... ;)
