went down to Cannon Beach this weekend, hoping for a nice sunset. the weatherman said it would be mostly sunny, so i figured i'd chance it. well, it WAS mostly sunny... till sunset! then the clouds rolled in, and robbed me of most of the potential color. still, it did make for some dramatic skies... 5D, 24-135 @ 24mm, 1/20-1/15 sec @ f/11, ISO 50...
Nice! Nothing like the Oregon Coast.....I wish I was there right now....
I LOVE the fist pic!! I love the contrast between the glass water in the foreground and the stormy clouds!! Beautiful!!

I love them both and my fave is the second and I really can't explain why. It's not often that I am at a loss for words on why I like one image more than the other, so I will simply say it is "just because"

These are just beautiful!
I'd take those skies any evening over clear ones. They look really nice and would be wallhangers somewhere in the house.
