I had a need for a road trip today. Since it was cloudy and a natural softbox I pointed my car in the direction of Cedar Creek Grist Mill. A particularly good day because all the leaves aren't out obscuring the view and the water was running fast.
The tough thing about shooting there is that there are very few points of view that hasn't been done. I managed to get a few shots different than the norm since it was open inside.
People had them grind flour for them.

There was all kinds of stuff to see, some old and some new.
I had to stick my head out to see the covered bridge.

Here is the flume that follows the creek, that powers all the equipment in the mill.
