weather's been horrid lately - cold, gray, and raining (or threatening to) much of the time - not exactly conducive to getting out with my cameras! :( but i took a quick trip down to the beach last night, in hopes of getting a half-decent sunset... unfortunately, it was not to be. this was the best shot of the evening, and rather disappointing at that. still, the clouds did offer a bit of drama, and i sorta liked the ripples and reflections on the beach... 5D, 24-135 @ 59mm, 1/8 sec @ f/13...

Rocky, all I have to say is that your definition of "rather disappointing" isn't the same as mine! I can understand that you might have been hoping for something a bit more dramatic, but that's still a very nice shot! I think the foreground reflections really add interest.

I missed this one when it was originally posted a week and a half ago. But, it's agreat shot and worth revisiting. This comment will be bump it back up to the top.

I have to agree with Bob. Disapointing? I think it's a great capture and composition.
