went down to Juanita yesterday to enjoy the afternoon... it didn't LOOK like a lot of activity, but there was a lot going on. an unexpected visitor was this common goldeneye. they're not uncommon in the Puget Sound area, of course, but this was the first time i've seen one at Juanita... he was lurking around just off the end of the west platform there, and let me get some shots in some decent light... 7D, 550mm, 1/3200 @ f/7.1
