Went up to Blaine today to get some loons.. came home with literally hundreds of images of them, but the best came just before we left... evening sun, and the loons were in close - this is a full-frame, uncropped shot taken from the beach at Semiahmoo spit. The loon was probably no more than 50 feet away! Will post more as I get through them all...

Thanks, Terry! Up till that trip, I'd seen these loons before, but never gotten a good shot of one. Now I have a bunch of 'em!
