Ran into Jerome out at Field's Riffle in Snohomish this afternoon... we chatted for an hour or so, waiting for the buntings to appear, but the little stinkers never showed up. So I shot a yellowthroat instead. Would've preferred a less cluttered background, but these little guys hang out in thickets like this, so ya takes what ya can get...

Good shots. I have yet to see one this year.
I haven't seen much of Jerome this year, either. Daren always asks about him when we are out photographing birds.

This was the second time I'd seen Jerome this week... he showed up at Sprague's Pond the other day as well. It was good to see him out and about!
