this Caspian tern got itself all out of shape while flying over the shoreline at Lake Sammamish State Park. not sure what it was doing - probably shaking off water or something - but it sure looked funny! not the best image quality by any means, due to the horrid light i was working with - as you can tell from the noise, i had to really kick up the brightness - but this pose is too priceless not to share...
