oooooooooo that is creepy...I like the B&W best, my only suggestions would be editing ones. I'm a stickler for powerlines so I would photoshop those out and I would love to see a zoom in anc crop of just the bay window with those creepy branches in front.

I also like the black and white shot better. The color shot is OK, but it's just not catching my eye for some reason.

On a non photography note, that's one of the oddest structures I've ever seen! Bay window on the bottom and a second story porch? No other windows on the bottom except that one small one?

Had you built an exact replica of this on your model railroad, I'd probably have accused you of putting together two totally un-related kits and/or not following the plans.

definitely a creepy looking place! i prefer the B&W version, not just because it suits the subject, but also because the sky in the color version doesn't lend itself to a good photo, and the foreground is too dark... it just cries for HDR processing. hope you don't mind, i took the liberty of giving it about 2 minutes' worth of processing in ReDynaMix and cropped out a lot of the sky which doesn't add anything anyway...

but the B&W version is still so much more atmospheric... ;)

That is indeed an interesting subject. Looks a bit like a home improvement project gone bad. I can just see it now "Honey, we don't need to buy a new house, I'll just do a little remodel and add a second story."

Here is a little rework of your first. Although I think B&W is a better choice.

Second Story.

Well, Janice, add a second story? you mean really add another floor level to the house?, or the story time about how long it took to fix up the house. Or how bad the project ended up? LOL

It was probably a never ending story that has finally come to its end. :D
