I always like a series of photos that tells a story...that second shot has to make a person laugh...great expression!
 
It is physically impossible for birds to smile...

So why is it that he looks to be smiling in that first shot?

It was fun hanging out with this heron. It had quite fishing technique and was very successful.

Bob, it's the look of satisfaction.

This one looks pretty happy too.
