was looking for a particular image in my archives this evening, and came across this shot i'd pretty much forgotten i had... from back when i had my 30D...

Very nice. I often do this too, overlooking an image. Sometimes because other more pressing work needs to be done. Then later rediscovering, like treasures in the attic.

I suspect we all have very nice forgotten images lurking in our archives. Sometimes I'll just scroll through my stuff in Lightroom, and I'm amazed at what I find!

I lost most of mine........about 7 years worth when I moved up here........discs got destroyed in the move and the hard drive also had an issue

thanks... i think the sky is really what makes this shot... that and the dappled lighting...

Chitobeach, Last month I converted my parents slides to digital photo's and posted on my Facebook page, there are about 1000 photo's (only copies) on my hard drive, I am crossing my fingers that nothing goes wrong! I would lose about weeks of work, I really need to copy to a jump drive or burn to a cd, To me its worth the effort to store those photo's in a save deposit box at a bank.

I did these transfers without a slide and/or reel to reel transfer system, did it with a Screen, Slide Projector, Digital Camera, and Tripod.
