office was closed today, so i had the day off, and the jeep couldn't care less about the snow, so i headed down to Coal Creek to enjoy a nice, sunny (if very cold!) winter day. these were all taken with my 5D and 100-400L at various settings...

One thing about photography, it teaches you how to see. Focusing in on the small things is a wonderful way to see.
Nice..love the lighting on the leaf. I love it when snow comes early.
Nice work. I keep looking back at that first one for a salmon to swim through.

thanks, guys... i'd have headed up to the pass for some real snow pics, but just didn't have a chance. maybe i'll try to get up there this weekend, if the weather isn't too crappy...
