stopped by the marina this morning on the way up to Stanwood, and found that a new batch of logs had been moved into place on the north edge of the boat launch. the DFW lady there said they'd removed the logs a couple of days ago, as Jerome noted, but brought some back this morning, and she'd seen the egret there. so i stopped by on my way home from Eide Road, and lo and behold, the egret was there. Bill, Terry, you've been given a reprieve!!
sun came out from behind a cloud and i got some really pretty golden light for this one...
