visited the osprey nest again this evening... looks like there are two chicks in the nest. as is often the case with osprey, the chicks are about half-grown before they're big enough to be seen... these little guys appear to have most of their feathers and markings, but they didn't flap wings, so it's hard to be sure... got a couple of shots of mom and/or dad, as well...

Good shots. it is impossible to get shots of downy chicks if you must look up at the nest. I'll check the two Lynnwood nests Monday night while my son is playing tennis.
