took a quick visit to the Riverside osprey nest to see if they were still around... got some nice shots of one of the adults bringing back a fish to what looks like a fully-grown juvenile.

the recipient of lunch... the fish flipped its tail up - nerves, i assume - and the bird looked a little taken aback...

Great shots, Rocky! Good to see that the ospreys are still around for a while since our Juanita Bay eagles seem to be on their annual vacation!
 


Daren and I saw one yesterday flying over Edmonds with a fish, so they are still around. I think they start their migration back to Central America in October.
