huge flock of whatever these are, taken from Brackett's Landing. they were flying back and forth between the two logs, too far away for positive ID. just a whole lotta little birds!!

Definitely dunlin. Check out my shots from Sunset Ave. on 1-14-16. I hope they continue to make Edmonds their winter residence.

I really, really should have joined you after you called me. I made the poor choice of staying home and watching some other birds (Arizona Cardinals) get mauled by a pack of wild cats (Carolina Panthers). :mad:

The game was so bad that I turned it off shortly after the start of the second half. I caught the end while I was waiting for the new X Files mini series to start.
