Last week I shared the general wildlife and scenery gallery from my September trip to the Great Bear Rainforest. I now have a second gallery from this trip online, featuring some of the wonderful bear sightings that occurred during my couple weeks in Canada.

The GBR is famous as the home of the spirit bear, a white phase black bear only found in this part of the world.
During the trip I was fortunate to see the two most beautiful spirit bears I've ever encountered.
There are also a lot of grizzlies in this region. We spent time near some of the salmon spawning streams where the bears scavenged for food.
The trip was highlighted by this sparring pair of grizzlies.
