I became well acquainted with one particular GBHE that spent a lot of time on the lower creek behind the main post office in downtown Bellingham. I can't post a thousand shots but I'm sure I have at least that many! ;)

Several herons have adapted quite well to fishing on lower Whatcom Creek, often right in the midst of the whitest water of the lower falls.
