i'm afraid the owls have left the building, at least as far as Stanwood is concerned... not a trace of them today. :( but there were several flocks of greater yellowlegs foraging in the shallow ponds. couldn't get as close as i would've liked, but these came out okay in spite of being about 50% crops... 7D, 150-600 @ 600mm, 1/800 @ f/9.1

Hey, Rocky these are nice. That 150-600 is working well for you - of course your skill may have something to do with the results :)
 
Good catch on the yellow-legs. I was disappointed that no shore birds were present when Daren and I were out there looking for the owls last month.
