I have one location on Bellingham's Southside wired for a pair of Green Herons and this morning one half of the reliable duo flew right to me, as I sat in the dry warmth of my truck!

Great capture. Green Herons are known to be somewhat skid-dish. Your truck obviously serves as a blind. This heron looks like it's standing tall and kind of proud. Glad to see this!

Any signs of the offspring?

good catch, Joe! haven't much of the greenies down at Canyon Park my last few visit, though they were quite active earlier in the season....
