the green herons at Canyon Park have been putting on a show lately... here are a few of the shots i've managed over the last week or so. the first 3 are a sub-adult (judging by the amount of yellow on its bill and the fuzzy bits on top of its head where the crest will be when it's mature) from 3 or 4 days ago; the last 3 are an adult, taken this afternoon.
