Rocky gave me the suggestion to check out Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River near Page, AZ. So here is my attempt at getting it all into one frame. It was shot at 9mm - on my Olympus 4/3 body that is 18mm "equivalent".
And then - in the spirit of "If one is good, then more is better", here is a view of the Goosenecks of the San Juan River near Mexican Hat, UT. Three complete horseshoe bends piled on top of each other! It wouldn't fit into one frame even at 9mm, so this one is a pano stitched from 6 vertically framed shots.
