I enjoyed spending time with this young PIGU at Semiahmoo yesterday morning.
Had to get my feet wet but it was worth it. Lots of diving/foraging in the shallows and then it headed to deeper water for a bit of preening.

Good shots. In their non-breeding and juvie plumages, guillemots are sometimes hard to distinguish from murres at a distance.
