this kingfisher did a fast flyby at Juanita on Wednesday... i heard him cackle, turned, and managed this shot before he got too far away...

thanks, Jerome! it's not quite what it was a few years ago... too many trees have fallen, and the water lilies are too thick in summer, but it's still a good spot for little birds and BIF shots...
