Periodically, the Kingfishers show up on the walkway to the Edmonds Pier - no predicting their presence, so luck is involved.
These shots were taken on March 7, 2013 with no help from Bill Anderson :)

I've been trying to get a shot of a kingfisher for a long time. Great group of shots.
 
WOW Terry! These shots are absolutely incredible! Great job! On the rare occasion I see a Kingfisher they are so timid they fly away before I can even think about taking a photograph. Amazing shots ...
