I work on the docks here in Seattle, at terminal 18 and 30 I take a lot of photos for my company because I love to take pictures, but I actually got on the cover of the "Pacific Maritime Magazine" they were doing an article on Seattle's 100 year anniversary for being the gate way to China and Alaska.

Congrats! What a fascinating shot, too; I love how you included some clearly local flavor to distinguish this scene from being just any ol' container terminal.

Thought you might find this shot interesting. While it's not cover shot material, it shows the construction of the dock. We're welding the crane rails together prior to installing them in the trench.

Congratulations, Bob! Love the composition of your cover shot!

Thanks Bradley, glad you liked it. I've got autographed copies for sale for only $50 each, shoot me an e-mail... ;)

Actually, it's not my cover shot, it's Justin's.

It is a great shot, and the framing is very cool, but let's be sure and give the credit to the right photographer.

The shot I posted has never been published, (except online) it's just one of a series of shots I did while the company I work for was welding the crane rails on the dock a few years ago when it was upgraded.
