today was the last "free fly day" of the season for Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection, and they were flying the Bf109E-3 and the Fieseler Storch. i already had some shots of the 109, but the weather was lousy the first time, and today was sunny, so i figured it'd be worth another attempt. these were shot with my 40D and 100-400 at various focal lengths, shot at 1/320 in Tv mode to get the right amount of prop blur... the first two are about 20% crops, the last is full frame...
