Last month I led a "Coastal Wolves and Sea Otters" tour in British Columbia. It was a fun week on the beautiful BC coast, and we had luck with both wolves and otters, along with some other wildlife. You can view the full gallery here, and check out some preview images below.
We saw three coastal gray wolves, with this one providing the highlight of the trip, coming within 20 yards or so while we were parked in our Zodiac off shore.
Lots of harbor seals around, which are actually quite a challenging subject to photograph.
Western sandpipers were among the many aquatic and shorebirds we saw during the week.
Sea otters were also very challenging, particularly out in the choppy ocean waters.
We were fortunate to spot a mink on our final morning.
Tons of bald eagles around, even though the salmon had not yet started running.
