least sandpipers, i think...

i am definitely no expert on shorebirds, but i think these are least sandpipers... they were less than half the size of a killdeer. i got these on 5/4 at Ebey Marsh on Whidbey Island.

I go by the legs. Black legs = western sandpiper, yellow legs = least sandpiper.

You got a nice shots of their yellow legs in the clear water and sand. More often than not the legs of all the sandpipers at the Edmonds marsh are black from wading in the mud.
