The sun came out! Not one to pass up such an opportunity, I went back up to Legion Park in north Everett yesterday to check on the eagles' nest. No one home, but after about 20 minutes, Mom flew in with a stick which she proceeded to add to the living room furnishings, while Dad relaxed in a nearby tree and kept an eye on me... I don't think they have eggs yet - there was no sitting activity - but the refurbishing continues, indicating the nest will most likely be used. It's a large nest, though - at several points, as Mom moved toward the back of the nest, she disappeared completely, which means youngsters will probably not be visible till they're about ready to fledge...
