This little fella has been hanging around at Marymoor Park in Redmond for a week or so, so I thought I probably should go pay him a visit. Northern shrikes are common enough in this area, but Loggerheads are considered quite rare this side of the Cascades, so seeing one was quite a treat.

Thanks! I got some nice shots of a northern shrike up at Eide back in December, and I saw one briefly at Juanita, but the loggerhead is extremely rare this side of the mountains...
