got these at North Creek Park in Bothell this afternoon. the wrens were building a nest in some dead reeds about 10 feet from the boardwalk, so these were all taken from about 15 feet or less. the first shot is full-frame, uncropped; i backed off the zoom a bit for the rest to give me some room to crop for composition, but none are cropped more than about 20%.

The male will build several nests to attract a female. I'm glad that has not carried over to our species.
