don't worry, Christena, it's extremely unlikely you have a dirty sensor. that's a common problem with DSLRs with removable lenses, but your Easyshare has a fixed lens, so you don't clean the sensor.

Ha!! Thanks...I thought so it was just dust on the lens or something since I've done a lot of spotless shots since but I appreciate the the links from Russ for the future...got a B-day coming up and my hubby is always clueless as to what to get me...a DSLR would be a great gift
