got there at 9:00 AM on a Sunday morning... apparently the tourists hadn't got up yet! though shortly after i got there, a busload of Japanese tourists showed up, and before long, there was no way to get the bridge without people standing and waving for the folks back home... highlights in the lower falls are a bit hot, even on a cloudy day, but some things can't be helped, i guess... :( 5D, 24-135 @ 24mm, 1/2 sec @ f/8...

Nicely done. I was fortunate only once....a rainy work day....when there were no others on the bridge. I like the warm tones in the coloring on the walls.

thanks, Leia. i had the WB set to "cloudy", which warms things up a bit... ;) it was pretty early yet, and the light was still sorta misty and dim in the canyon there. a couple of hours later, in addition to being absolutely crawling with tourists, it was much brighter, and the light was a lot harsher. glad i went when i did!

Nicely done. That is one of the hazards of Multnomah Falls. Morning is always best.
