biggest tip would be don't crop tail (or limbs) animals are shot like people (in our thinking) and a missing part of a limb is, well, missing LOL

that said, it is a unique angle, I tend to like to be at eye level or lower than the animal whenever possible
also, not sure red is the color for this kitty, try a burnt orange or a green, would really make kitty pop off the screen :)
but, don't ask me, what do I know about kitties LOL
