The Bald Eagles have been missing for the last 3 weeks.
I'm not sure if this one is from the family unit but it was nice to see a Bald Eagle again.

that's a bald eagle, not a golden, Deka... but yeah, they often sort of disappear between August and October around here... they'll start gathering up north along the rivers in a couple of months for the winter run fishing. i'm probably gonna try to get up to the Nooksack or Skagit this winter for some shots...

Rocky is correct, that is a bald eagle. Goldies are found east of the Cascades. Periodically someone in the Puget Sound region will mistake a juvie bald eagle for a golden eagle.

The Edmonds bald eagles disappear from mid August through mid October. I usually target Columbus Day weekend for their return, but last year the first one showed up a week early. I suspect during their absence they go to some of the salmon rivers up north with salmon runs, such as the Skagit and Stillaguamish.
