went back up to the North Fork Falls on the Sauk River this evening, hoping to get it at lower flow than last time i was there in November. i wasn't disappointed. about half the volume going over the falls, and the surrounding area was much prettier this time around. the first shot is from the usual "end of the trail" viewing area. the other two are from the "you-probably-shouldn't-go-there" spots down along the bank of the river.
