Took my mom to northwest trek last month while she was visiting from ohio, and got a few great shots, dispite the terrible weather

But my favorite is not of an animal,

Love last one best too...fantastic in B&W and totally up my alley, I also LOVE owls...they look at you like the really do know stuff. Love the angle of the 2nd owl shot the best..dead on!!

thanks. On the 3rd one, I really liked how one side was very light, and the other very dark, and the meet in the middle and mingle
 


That rain shot is fantastic, way cool!

As for the clouds, it can often work to your advantage. The woods are so dark there that if you have sun contrast can be an issue. "Filtered Sun" works better in a lot of cases.

Nice series!
 
NWT is the best when the weather is lousy. It makes the colors pop, the animals are more active, and the kids stay where it's dry.
