The cattails of the Pt. Edwards detention pond are favorite spots for the Chickadees to forage for grubs or whatever....The backlighting made for interesting images.

I didn't see any guards while we were there, although I'm sure some of the condo residents were keeping their eyes on us.
I'll try not to post shots identical to Terry's.
I got some artsy back lit shots of the same hummer that Terry photographed from the opposite direction.
The wind was blowing all day off the Sound and the Pt. Edwards eagles enjoyed soaring in the updrafts. One flew right past us.
Here are my little chickadee shots. The chickadee is digging for larvae living inside the cattail head. You can just make out a larva in this shot.
