Although a bit harsh, the lighting allowed me to bump up the shutter speed on these. Both of the nestlings are getting more active and the wing feathers are looking pretty complete.

wow... great shots!! its sure gonna be an empty nester when they are gone! its been fun watching them. love the first one.. magnificent birds!
 


Thanks, Christine and Bill! Yep, won't be long. I hope we can get some shots of them practicing their first flights. I'm sure we will be checking on them daily.
 
I was at the Tualatin Refuge yesterday and the eaglet is flying from tree to tree now. But still seems uncertain at times. He or she is still screaming at mom and dad for attention. :)
