Nice shots, Christine! I haven't seen any red wings at the refuge since maybe October, then again I've only been there a few times since.

The Heron shot really shows your eye for photography! Nice work. :)
 


How did you like the refuge? You will have to make another trip in the spring after the trails are re-opened and you are allowed to leave your car. I think it takes a few trips to learn where to look for the birds, especially if you must do the driving.

Bill, I really enjoyed the Refuge. Yes i would love to go back and take the walking path with the tripod.. I didnt get alot of good pics with the 70-200 even with the 2x... most were to blurry.. :(
