After watching the DFW guys releasing pheasants into the meadow at Eide Road on Tuesday, I figured I'd run back up there and see if I could get a decent shot of one before the hunters gor 'em all... This handsome fellow gave me a nice photo op in some gorgeous light from about 35-40 feet away...

On a side note, I always wear a hunter orange hi-viz vest when I venture up to Eide Rd. or other DFW sites during bird hunting season.
